The Baader initiative is PDO’s volunteering program aimed at providing governmental & non-governmental organizations the opportunity to utilize the expertise of PDO employees. The platform officially launched in 2022 where Al Jabr was responsible for onboarding the organization as well as the PDO volunteers. To date the platform has successfully onboarded 152 organizations ranging from NGO’s, SMEs and charitable organizations. In terms of PDO employees, there are 186 currently registered on the platform. 

 

The initiative also aims to raise awareness regarding volunteering and encourages people within and outside of PDO to increase their commitment to society. Over the past couple of months there have been 58 registrations by PDO employees to volunteer at various entities.
